|Today’s tip: Refresh your annual goals|
The first quarter of 2011 is almost up. Have you seen your New Year’s Resolutions lately? Your annual goals?
Now is a great time to get back in touch and recommit yourself to your hopes and aspirations for the year.
Create a three month plan to reenergize your annual goals. Follow these steps:
- Rewrite your goals to include aspects that feel important
- Choose a milestone accomplishment for each month (for example: three milestones for losing weight are “create a weekly meal plan,” “find a fitness routine,” and “do fitness routine 4 weeks straight”)
- Write a set of tasks that will help you achieve each milestone
- Schedule these tasks over the weeks for the next three months
While your goals may have not changed this year, your priorities can easily get lost in the busy shuffle of your day. Getting back in touch with your goals on a regular basis is almost always necessary. This is a great opportunity to renew your focus and motivation.
Use these steps to reaffirm your dedication and make some progress toward your 2011 goals.
It’s never too late to pursue your New Year’s Resolutions. For more reading on setting your annual goals, please check-out our free New Year’s Resolution guide.
