Cardiovascular exercise revs your metabolism, keeps your heart healthy, lowers your blood pressure, and your risk for diabetes, boosts your mood, enhances self esteem, and helps achieve or maintain a healthy weight.
Aim to move your body every day. Even if you’re only able to walk for five minutes, it’s better than doing nothing. Ideally, aim for a minimum of 30 minutes each day.
