Plan for Fitness

The grass is green, the birds are singing, and you’re dreading the thought of summer clothes….

There’s still time to plan a fitness regime! And it’s the perfect time to get out… and get active. The days are longer, the weather is warmer.

If fitness usually ends up at the bottom of your to-do list, try this two-prong approach:

Integrate fitness into your everyday routine. Take the stairs vs the elevator, park further away from the store or office, ride your bike to work, walk with your kids or dog in the evenings after dinner.

If you need a more structured approach, create a fitness schedule for yourself, then block out the time on your planning calendar (paper, electronic, or both) so you don’t commit to something else during that time. Treat your fitness appointments as you would any other appointment: seriously. When you set aside time for your health and well being each day, every other day, or even a couple of times per week, it won’t be long ‘til you start to see results!
