It’s happened to the best of us. You make a commitment; maybe it’s related to work, maybe it’s not.
You think to yourself, “I’ll add that to my calendar later.” But then you forget.
You make another commitment, but as the date draws near, you realize you’ve promised to be two places at once – you’re “double booked.”
Unfortunately, you’re not going to getting out of this mess without upsetting somebody. And the frustrating part is that it all could have been avoided had you immediately written your initial commitment in your planner or on your calendar.
That’s why it pays to keep your planner or calendar close at hand—you just never know when somebody is going to ask you to make plans.
